CityGroups are local expressions of Redeemer Central that gather in homes across the city, forming community together and seeking to engage their local areas.

The church is not an event but a community. As much as we love to gather together at our family gatherings on Sundays we also love to scatter in smaller groups across the city. Our CityGroups exist as local expressions of the church that gather in each others homes to eat meals, build relationships and serve their local neighbourhoods. The best way to practice community in Redeemer is to join a CityGroup.

Church is not a building or an event... it is a community of people; a family.

CityGroups are formed either by locality or by interest. Currently there are 10 CityGroups gathering in Belfast City centre, north Belfast, south Belfast and east Belfast, Holywood, Whiteabbey, Parkgate.

The aim is to do normal life together so each CityGroup has it's own rhythm that suits it with gatherings built into that rhythm on a weekly or monthly basis.
