Nearly ten years ago, while on holiday, I read an article about Home for Good, a new campaign being launched to engage the Church in the conversation around adoption and fostering - to dare to believe the Church could be part of the solution, helping to find a home for every child who needs one.
Summer is here and for our community that means an opportunity to change our rhythm of gathering and build in some moments of rest and refreshment. One thing to highlight is the OpenSkies Festival – a 3 day worship festival that makes space for people to worship and encounter God.
In the spring of 2018 I was asked if I would like to be one of 10 artist based in Belfast to create some work to mark 20 years since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement in April 1998. The question we were all asked was, what might an artist create that could ever contain the complexity, horror, and sorrow of over 3600 lives lost from the armed conflict in Northern Ireland? The work that resulted was powerful and varied.
