Prayer takes the mind out of the narrowness of self-interest, and enables us to see the world in the mirror of the holy.
— Abraham Joshua Heschel

We all have daily, weekly, monthly and yearly rhythms that shape how we see the world and church life is no different. Ever since Redeemer Central began 10 years ago we have prioritised the practice of prayer in its various forms. We believe we pray not because we are religious but because we are human. We also believe to pray and fast is a biblical teaching and practice of Jesus that can create margin in our lives for God to move.

We long for both personal renewal in our lives and spiritual renewal in our world. We have two aims for the week ahead: firstly, to practice the presence of God together and be deeply renewed in our relationship with God and secondly, to cry out on behalf of our world for God’s Kingdom to come “on Earth as it is in Heaven”.

Prayer Room

Our Prayer Room at 101 is now open regularly and available for individuals, couples, or small groups to book time to pray. This is a space to spend time in God’s presence, to offer prayers for our community, our city and our nation, to pray that we see “His Kingdom come on Earth”. Click the link below to book in:
