Our Sunday gathering begins at 10:30am and finishes at 12:00am (approx). When you arrive you will be greeted by our friendly welcome team who will provide you with any information you need including connecting parents with our kids and youth work.
We love to worship together and every week we do so through song and by sharing communion at the open table of Jesus.
Every week one of our leaders teaches from Scripture. If you want to listen to some of our recent teaching click the link below.
We believe prayer is a powerful way of connecting us to God and inviting Him to speak to us, bless us and bring healing and peace into our circumstances. Each week our prayer team is available to pray for anyone who would like to receive prayer.
Everyone regardless of age is of equal value at Redeemer Central. We have amazing kids and tots teams that are passionate about seeing children flourish in the story of God. Our Kids & Tots runs during the Sunday morning gathering only.
Tables
Tables
“a place where God is forming a family out of strangers.”
If you would be interested in hosting a Table group in 2026, or would like to find out more about what is involved click here.
Tables are currently on a break and we plan on relaunching in 2026. Watch this space. In the meantime check out Dinners, informal gatherings that give a bit more space to connect beyond Sundays.
Dinners
Dinners
“the primary focal practice of the human race is a meal”
The Table Practice of Jesus
When we look at the life of Jesus, we see him again and again gathered around tables, sharing a meal with anyone who would join him. He modelled a table practice of radical inclusion.
As a Jesus-community, we want to follow his example, opening up our tables to one another and whoever would like to join us with the simple aim to provide a safe place for connection, belonging and meaningful relationship.
We do this knowing that each time we come together something sacred happens—we encounter grace, and we are changed, never quite the same as when we arrived.
Who hosts Dinners?
Dinners are hosted by members of the Redeemer community, and they take many different shapes and flavours. Some are “dinners in”—where a host opens their home and cooks a meal to share. Others are “dinners out”—where a group meets at a restaurant or pub to enjoy good food and conversation together.
Each dinner has its own style and theme: a potluck, taco night, BBQ, make-your-own pizza evening, vegan feast, or even a relaxed wine-and-dessert night. However it looks, the heart is the same—sharing food, stories, and connection around the table.

Yes. Dinners are separate from Table Groups, though both share the same goal— fostering community and connection. While Table Groups are ongoing gatherings with the same people, Dinners are one-off events that make it easy for people to come together around a table, no matter where they live, what they’re interested in, or how full their schedule is.
Yes! Dinners are hosted by members of the Redeemer community. One of our leaders will support you with planning, organisation, and promotion. If you’d like to explore what’s involved or see if hosting might be a good fit for you, click here to read our Dinner Host Role Description.
In theory, Dinners can happen any time throughout the year. To begin, we’re hosting a first round of Dinners during a designated window from 1 November to 20 December 2025.

We hope this will grow into a regular rhythm in the life of our community.
Table Groups are taking a break in 2025 as we look to refresh and relaunch them in 2026 with new ways for people to connect and grow together. We’d love your input as we plan for what’s next. If you’re interested in joining or even leading a Table Group, click here to share your feedback and ideas.
