David Armstrong speaks from Acts 6 & 7 on the example of Stephen who prayed for the forgiveness of the people who were stoning him to death. As the first martyr in the Christian church, Stephen follows the way of Jesus, refusing the script of society that would demand he hate his enemy and instead choosing to love his neighbour and forgive those who persecuted him.
